FAQ

  • How do I print labels on my Zebra printer?

Zebra printers can print high-quality receipts, labels, and other documentation through popular word processing programs, including Microsoft Word. These direct thermal printers can also print scannable barcodes on labels for shipping, inventory pricing, and identification uses. So you can print labels on your Zebra printer, follow these simple steps:

    • Launch a new Microsoft Word document from your computer
    • From the menu bar at the top portion of the window, click on the “Mailings” tab. In the “Create” section, click on the “Labels” option.
    • Type in the information you want to print on the label in the “Address” text box
    • Click on “Options” to activate the advanced settings dialog box.
    • Click the “Options” button to bring up the advanced settings dialog box.
    • Click on the “Continuous-feed printers” bubble and choose “Zebra” from the “Label vendors” drop-down box. Select the product number from the list and then click on “OK.
    • Click on the “New Document” button, and the label will pop up on the screen.
    • Type in a barcode on the label by putting the cursor in the top-left corner of the label. Enter “~C2B” followed by a space and the command for the barcode you want to include. Turn to the programming guide for your Zebra printer model to get the barcode commands.
    • Click on the “File” tab and choose the “Print” option. From the “Printer” option, choose “Zebra.” Click on the “Print” button, and the Zebra printer will start printing the label.
  • What is a zebra label?

Zebra labels are available in various materials, and Zebra’s portfolio of barcode labels includes paper and synthetic materials for thermal transfer or direct thermal printing. Zebra Paper labels can suit a variety of applications that don’t require durability to chemicals or abrasion. They are a popular choice for printing shipping labels and short-term asset tags. Paper labels come with specialty adhesives for specific uses, like the labeling of challenging surfaces (curved and rough) or where the label must be easy to remove or replace.

Zebra Polypropylene labels can withstand the most demanding internal environment. These labels offer superior print quality with an extremely heavy-duty material that can survive any internal or external environment. Synthetic labels with unique face stocks and adhesives can suit the unique requirements of specialized applications. Zebra labels come in numerous different sizes, materials and adhesive types. Find the Zebra label that perfectly fits your needs here at enKo Products.

  • How do you troubleshoot a Zebra label printer?

The very first thing you need to do when troubleshooting a zebra label printer issue in any situation is to clean the entire machine thoroughly. You’d be shocked by the number of printers that are neglected until something affects operation. Adhesive and residue can build up on the printhead and platen rollers over time. Dust and particles can block the sensor’s field of view resulting in issues in printing.

Clean the machine’s printhead, each roller, and the sensors with 99.7 % isopropyl alcohol every time you replace the media. Check the platen roller (beneath printhead) and make sure no cuts in it or labels aren’t tangling around it. Cuts in the platen will lead to voids in print and will require replacement.

    Conduct a test print

After cleaning, we recommend running a test print. This process will send a test label to the printer and isolate the printing function from the software doing a standard print job. This test is the most effective way to determine if your printer is functioning properly quickly. It also prints across the entire capable width of the printer, making it easier for you to fine-tune your adjustments. Here’s how to do it:

    • Turn off your printer, long-press the pause button, and turn the machine back on.
    • Keep pressing the pause button until all the lights start flashing. A set of 9999 test print labels will start loading into the printer.
    • Release the pause button to complete the test print

Good for kitchen and study room

My wife uses them both in the study room and kitchen. They are now well organized and tidy. The children and I will put back the utensils/stationery and books according to the labels. Smart move!

Never turn yellowish

Used them for months and the labels are still sticking steadfastly on whatever they are on. They didn't turn yellow and still adhered on the boxes well. Will re-purchase the same brand for my other merchandises.

Delay shI'ments

The labels are of good quality and easy to use but there was a delay with the delivery. Because of this I have to buy from the local store which is more expensive. If the labels are delivered on time, I will give it five stars.

Awesome

Cheaper than the other brand that i used and better quality. Will stock up.
